Bed bug heat treatment
Rough price estimator
Heat treatment runs about $300 per room and $125 per bathroom. Every room counts: bedrooms, living rooms, and so on. Punch in your numbers for a ballpark figure.
Rough estimate
$1,025 + tax
This is a rough ballpark, not a final price, plus sales tax. Every home is different, so call or text for your exact quote. Our customers consistently say we’re the best priced for the quality you get, and paying cash saves you even more. Very large homes may need a custom quote since heat has a harder time reaching everywhere.

- Step 1Remove all trash from every receptacle and clear the common areas before treatment.
- Step 2Each person should pick one outfit to wear on treatment day. Run it in the dryer for one hour on high heat, then seal it in a bag outside the home. Leave everything else in the house.
- Step 3Remove all pressurized cylinders, aerosol cans, paints, and flammable chemicals.
- Step 4Remove small items such as picture frames, paintings, or paperwork that could be blown around by air circulation from the equipment.
- Step 5Leave electronic equipment in the home during treatment. Electronics are a common hiding spot in infested areas, and most are rated for temperatures around 160 degrees F.
- Step 6Remove oil paintings, aquariums containing fish, and pets from the space.
- Step 7Remove soap, candles, chocolate, cosmetics, bottled alcohol, medications, cologne, perfume, fruits, and vegetables, and store them in the refrigerator.
- Step 8Leave all cushions, frames, mattresses, cabinets, and desks in the space. Strip all linens from the beds. Open all drawers and doors. They will be moved during the process so the heat reaches everywhere it needs to.
- Step 9Leave as much as possible in the structure. The treatment has to reach every item to work.
- Step 10Remove one-of-a-kind items such as heirlooms and irreplaceable possessions from the premises before treatment.
- Step 11Do not stack blankets or clothing in piles.
- Step 12Hang all clothing on hangers.
- Step 13Take all vinyl blinds off the walls before treatment and lay them flat on the floor.
- Step 14Roll up all area rugs, tie them, and place them in the corners of the living room before treatment.
- Step 15We will refuse treatment to any unit that is not properly prepared. A $200 rescheduling fee will be charged if we are not given 48 hours’ notice, paid by the tenant.
